Superb quality untouched original Victorian mahogany extending dining table with beautifully heavy figured solid top formed into a perfect 5ft round when closed and opening via steel winder to incorporate a further four leaves which can be used in and combination for seating 8 to 16 people. standing on fine turned legs with relief carved shoulders and currently requiring sympathetic polishing to bring to museum standard or can be polished to your specification. Very good table indeed. Measures 60" diameter closed x 144" fully extended.Circa: C.1870
