Description
Truly a museum piece this beautiful Regency rent table is a very rare article indeed. Super panel work leather inset top enclosing cash well and carved cross grain edging inlaid with ivory numbering one to four. Eight fully working cock beaded drawers to the frieze, each lined in oak and furnished with moulded swan neck handles. Standing on quadriform stepped sabre legs terminating scroll brass casters. Mellowed to warm patinated nutty shade and in perfect original condition throughout. Prize piece for drawing room or fantastic focal piece for hallway. Measures 42" diameter x 30" high.Circa: C1810
