Description
Super quality and extremely substantial English cabinet work to this late Victorian mahogany extending dining table formed as a perfect 5ft round when fully closed and opening via steel winder to incorporate any combination of the original leaves to seat 8 to 18 people very comfortably. Solid moulded edge top finished beneath with full apron skirt to both ends and leaves to give very clean lines at any length. Incredible gauge of mahogany double sandwich runner system keeping the table completely flat and standing on Sheraton formed square tapering legs terminating in under casters. Table in very good untouched condition and of mellowed shade currently so can simply be sympathetically cleaned and waxed or re finished to your chosen shade. Measures 60" diameter and extends to 168" long.Circa: C1900
